PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffuser device, preventing the contamination of a ceiling surface and providing no feeling of wrongness in design, by a method wherein the position whereat outlet air stream sticks to the ceiling surface is designed so as to be referred from an air outlet port to restrict the adhesion of dust or the like in indoor air to the ceiling surface while the amount of projection of the diffuser device from the ceiling is restricted. SOLUTION: The spreading angle of an inside pan 12 is formed so as to be smaller than that of an outside cone unit 11b and an air stream passage between the outside cone unit 11b and the inside pan 12 is designed so as to be widened as it approaches the downstream side whereby the speed of outlet air stream is lowered and the air stream is sent out into an oblique direction from the lower end of an opening area along the inner surface of the outside cone unit 11b and the outer surface of the inside pan 12. As a result, the sticking force of the air stream to a ceiling 50 is weakened and the sticking position of the air stream to the ceiling 50 can be referred from the air outlet port whereby the speed of air stream at the sticking position of the same is lowered largely, thereby hardly adhering dust or the like included in the air stream to a ceiling surface and permitting the prevention of contamination of the ceiling surface.
