PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finder device capable of attaining the miniaturization of the device and the reduction of a manufacturing cost by providing a simply- constituted lighting means without installing a lighting window. SOLUTION: As for the finder device with an objective optical system for forming an object image, a reversion optical system for making the object image formed by the objective optical system an erected normal image, and an eyepiece optical system for observing the object image, the finder device is provided with a transmissible reflection surface 56a arranged in the reversion optical system, a display means 60 with a display part (light transmissible part) for displaying the visual field information so that the image formed by the objective optical system and the visual information can be observed through the eyepiece optical system in the superposed state through the transmissible reflection surface, and a light guiding means 42 for guiding an external luminous flux into the device so as to illuminate the display part of the display means.
