PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt for an electrophotographic device which is small in meandering, highly accurate and excellent in durability, at a low cost. SOLUTION: This belt for an electrophotographic device has at least two- layer structure containing a core layer 2 and an elastic layer 3 and the core layer 2 has a constitution in which twist yarns that are reversed in a twist direction are alternately arranged in a circumferential direction. Further, the core layer 2 can be made of code or canvas, the diameter of the twist yarn is 0.05-0.3 mm and, preferably, the hardness of the elastic layer is 30A-95A.
