PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the vertical size by decreasing the number of gradation voltage signal lines and transistors to be numerously arranged in the vertical direction in proportion to the number of gradations in a decoder part. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal driver device and the liquid crystal display device are constituted so as to reduce the vertical size of an area occupied by gradations voltage signal lines by sharing redundant MOS transistors and wiring between adjoining gradation voltage signal lines, in decoding areas of higher order bits A, B except a lower order bit C in a decoder part 20 corresponding to a truth table.
