PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a connecting work or the like after mounting in vehicle without increasing the number of components and a manufacturing man-hour. SOLUTION: The header pipe 20 of the heat exchanger has a main pipe 21 formed by working a plate member in a cylindrical state, connecting the member and sealing openings of its upper and lower ends by sealing members 23, and a discharge pipe 22 formed by further working the part continued to the connecting part of the pipe 21 of the member in a cylindrical state ad connecting the part. In this case, the pipe 21 communicates with the pipe 22 at their lower ends. An inlet 21b is provided near the upper end of the pipe 21, and an outlet 22b is provided near the upper end of the pipe 22. A connector 40 for connecting inflow piping of heat exchanging medium is provided at the inlet 21b, and a connector 40 for connecting outflow piping is provided at the outlet 22b.
