PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable terminal equipment capable of easily and speedily accessing various applications through a telephone line or communication network such as the Internet. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a verifying part 12 for verifying whether a user to utilize the portable terminal equipment is a proper user or not, a liquid crystal display part 13 for displaying the list of applications accessible from the verified user when the user is verified as a proper user, a selecting means for selecting any application out of the displayed list of applications, and an interface part 15 for accessing the selected application through the communication network by cable or radio, judging whether the application is a prescribed form or not, converting the contents of the application to a prescribed form when it is judged the application is not the prescribed form, and displaying them on the display means. |
