<p>A machine has two machine portions (1, 2) mutually spaced apart, between which a working region (3) is arranged. At least one force transmission element (4) interconnects the machine portions. A force generating device (40) exerts force for the working operation. A first machine portion (1) is designed as a base. A connecting device (10, 14, 15, 18) connects one individual force transmission element (4) to the base (1). This is divided into two plates (6, 7) positioned on each other. The connecting device is arranged to connect one individual force transmission element (4) to a first plate (6). The second plate (7) and the force transmission element (4) have contact surfaces (8, 9) engaging each other. The connecting device is arranged to exert a tightening force, which presses the force transmission element (4) and the second plate (7) against each other during contact between the contact surfaces (8, 9) and simultaneously presses the first and second plates (6, 7) against each other.</p> |
