<p>A hot dip galvanized steel plate excellent both in the balance of strength and in adhesiveness between steel and a plating layer, characterized in that the base steel thereof has an average composition: C: 0.05 to 0.25 mass %, Si: 2.0 mass % or less, Mn: 1.0 to 2.5 mass % and Al: 0.005 to 0.10 mass %, provided that the surface part of the base steel just below the plating layer has a C concentration of 0.02 mass % or less, and the structure of the base steel comprises martensite phase in a proportion of 50 % or more in the sum of tempered martensite phase and fine martensite phase, the balance comprising ferrite phase and retained austenite.</p> |
