An antibody that has affinity for a non-naturally-occurring enantiomer (NNOE ) of a chiral molecule whose naturally-occurring enantiomer (NOE) is endogenou s, and that has no affinity for the NOE, can be used for targeting, in therapy or diagnostic procedures. The antibody may be conjugated to a therapeutic or diagnostic agent, e.g. a cytotoxic agent.
