DEVICE FOR RESTRICTING DEPARTURE OF A PARKED VEHICLE IN A PAY PARKING SPACE

A parked vehicle is restricted from leaving a pay parking space by a device including retractable stop rods (32). The device includes a base plate (10) detachably fastened with the surface of the pay parking space, a horizontal body (20) mounted on the upper surface of the base plate (10), a horizontal confinement unit (30) disposed in a hollow interior of the horizontal body (20), and a power unit (40) for driving the horizontal confinement unit (20). A plurality of transmission shafts (31) and stop rods (32) fastened with the transmission shafts (31) are provided in the horizontal body (20). The free ends of the stop rods are movably received in the through holes of the horizontal body (20) such that the stop rods (31) are driven by the transmission shafts (31) to move up and down in the through holes of the horizontal body (20) so as to restrict the departure of the parked vehicle from the pay parking space.
