PURPOSE: An LCD(liquid crystal display) is to reduce temperature of each lamp unit to minimize deformation of a lamp reflecting plate, a lamp holder and a mold frame and increase the luminance of the LCD. CONSTITUTION: A mold frame(110) has a receiving space and a sliding portion. A light guide panel(120) is received in the receiving space to guide light. A lamp unit(130a,130b,130c,130d) has a lamp(132) disposed at each sidewall of the light guide panel, a lamp reflecting plate(136) disposed to enclose the lamp and reflect the light to the light guide panel, and a lamp holder(134) fitted to both ends of the lamp to protect the lamp. An optical sheet(140) is disposed on an upper face of the light guide panel to increase luminance of the light. A bottom chassis(150) is disposed at a lower face of the mold frame to support the light guide panel, the lamp unit and the optical sheet. The bottom chassis has a slide disposed at a side portion corresponding to the sliding portion to expose an end of the lamp unit. An LCD panel(160) is disposed at an upper face of the optical sheet to display information. And a top chassis is disposed at an upper portion of the mold frame to support the LCD panel. |
