PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover recycleable substances as safe substances as much as possible, and to keep the amount of waste at a minimum level. SOLUTION: A water treatment device is provided with a storage tank 1 for storing wash water discharged from a wet gas cleaning device and adjusting its pH, a settling tank 6 for separating metal hydroxides and total organic carbon components contained in the wash water, an aeration tank 7 for storing the treated water and separating dust contained in the treated water, a slurry receiving tank 11 for collecting slurry containing metal hydroxides, a dust receiving tank 12 for collecting water containing total organic carbon components, dust, and a mixture of the dust and the total organic carbon components, and a dehydrator 16 for compressing the slurry containing the metal hydroxides, the total organic carbon components, the dust, the mixture of the dust and the total organic carbon components to remove moisture. |
