Connection for an overhead power line containing a clamp bolt or screw 8, 8' and at least three coupling plates 1, 2, 3 which can be pressed against each other with the clamp bolt or screw 8, 8'. The coupling plates 1, 2, 3 form between themselves two spaces for reception of the conduit on either side of the middle coupling plate 2. At least one coupling plate 2 between the other two plates 1, 3 has hollow metal coupling pieces with teeth extending into said spaces, which when the coupling plates are tightened with the clamp bolt or screw 8, 8', are forced through the line insulation, whereupon the coupling piece 10 forms an electrical coupling between the conductors lying either on or alongside each other in both spaces. <IMAGE>
