PURPOSE: To make a logic relating to an external interface signal and an interface signal between division result circuits performable a fast operation by generating and storing the division result of the electronic circuit of a logic device in which the first logic using the external interface signal is assigned to a programmable logic element. CONSTITUTION: A division initial state generation part 116 receives a connector connection information file 105, a trace result file 113, an external interface priority specification file 114, a connector pin assignment specification film 106, an external interface group list 110, or a connector signal correspondence list 115 as inputs and generates the initial state of a dividing process. A logic division part 119 divides a logic circuit 101 according to a division initial state file 118. Thus, the division result of the electronic circuit of the logic device where first logic using the external interface signal is assigned to the programmable logic element connecting directly to the connector to which the external interface signal is assigned is generated and stored in a storage device.
