ABRASIVE SLUDGE REUSE METHOD

PURPOSE: An abrasive sludge reuse method reuses abrasive sludge to resolve environmental problem due to the abrasive sludge. CONSTITUTION: An abrasive sludge reuse method comprises a step to remove iron composition from the composition of abrasive sludge containing abrasive and glass powder generated in abrasion of a panel for a cathode ray tube using either of alumina abrasive, pumice abrasive and cerium abrasive and a step to input the abrasive sludge from which iron composition is removed as material of the panel for the cathode ray tube. A magnetic separator is used to remove iron composition. Cerium abrasive is preferably excluded from the abrasive sludge for the rare earth contained in the cerium abrasive which may color the panel is hard to remove.
