PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally sprayed steel sheet for a tank having excellent corrosion resistance and good applicability in an installation environment by being used for the bottom board of a petroleum tank or the like. SOLUTION: In this thermally sprayed steel sheet for a tank, the surface is provided with a sprayed coating layer containing, by weight, 0.05 to 20% Mg, and the balance Zn with an inevitable impurity layer at a thickness of >=10μm. Preferably, the sprayed coating later moreover contains 0.05 to 55% Al.
