A drive (25) moves the movable bar unit (3) along a closed path of movement (21) being substantially elliptical. The path of movement (21) includes a forward movement, an upward movement and a backward movement The path of movement (21) is coordinated with the shape of the steps (8) of the bars (1, 2) such that the skeleton portion (9) of the movable bars (2) is covered by the skeleton portion (9) of the stationary bars (1) during the forward movement and it is not covered thereby during the backward movement.
