PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheetlike member which is highly durable and less costly and further, shows outstanding bag making characteristics and a method for manufacturing the sheetlike member and further, provide a highly durable and low-cost paper bag and a method for manufacturing the paper bag and in addition, a corrugated fiberboard material which shows an unconventional taste and a method for manufacturing the corrugated fiberboard material. SOLUTION: A single-side glossy bleached kraft paper is embossed (S21) and then an oily solution such as varnish is gravure-printed (S22) to obtain the sheetlike member. By the described steps, it is possible to obtain a translucent paper material. When the paper bag is manufactured, the sheetlike member is used. When the corrugated fiberboard material is manufactured, the sheetlike member is used as a liner for the corrugated fiberboard material.
