PURPOSE: An electronic time capsule is provided to automatically release a locking device of the time capsule only after a predetermined time elapses and to enable individuals to possess a time capsule. CONSTITUTION: An electronic time capsule includes a main body keeping individuals' possession items and a sealing member for sealing the main body, wherein the main body includes a first coupling part having a grooved bolt type part to be coupled with the sealing member, and the sealing member includes a second coupling part combined with the first coupling part, and a control circuit part controlling to maintain the locking state of the first and second coupling parts for a predetermined time and to automatically release the first and second coupling parts at the predetermined time.
