METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SEALING VENT HOLE OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: A method and device for sealing vent hole of plasma display panel is provided to prevent in advance a crack of rear substrate, damages by shielding the conduction of high heat occurred from cut part of vent hole to rear substrate through vent hole. CONSTITUTION: An edge side of front substrate(1) and rear substrate(2) whose hole is formed is sprayed with sealing material(7). A vent hole(9) is fixed with flit ring(8) after installing insulation material(10) for the edge side of hole formed at rear substrate(2). Front and rear substrate(1)(2) and flit ring(8) is melted and united by vent and inject device after completing spraying and fixing. A proper position of vent hole(9) protruded is sealed by electrical heating after completing melting and uniting.
