APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COLLECTING STATISTICS DATA IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for collecting statistics data in a mobile communication system are provided to store statistic data that failed to be transmitted in a cycle and to transmit the data with the statistics data of the next cycle. CONSTITUTION: If a preset time comes, an MMH(Main Measurement and statistics Handling) block sends a message(msg_ReqStat_MmhBmh) to request a BMH(BTS Measurement and statistics Handling) block to send statistic data. The BMH block first sends the configuration information of a BTS to the MMH block with its response message(msg_RspStat_BmhMmh). The BMH block then transmits statistic data item by item to the MMH block with the message(msg_RspStat_BmhMmh). If the transmission of the itemized data is completed, the MMH block informs the BMH block of a data transmission result through a message(msg_InfStat_MmhBmh).
