PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling fuel injection of a car are provided to prevent lowering of engine output by firstly stopping fuel injection in case of throttle whole deceleration and secondly stopping fuel injection only when a higher rotational frequency of engine is reached within a prescribed period of time after the first stop. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling fuel injection of the car includes an idle switch(10) for detecting a throttle whole deceleration state, an engine rotational frequency sensor(20) for sensing rotational frequency of an engine, a speed sensor for sensing speed of the car, a timer(50), a controller(40) outputting control signal for secondly stopping fuel injection only when a higher rotational frequency of engine is reached within a prescribed period of time after firstly stopping fuel injection in case of throttle whole deceleration, and an injector(60) for injecting fuel into a cylinder according to the control signal of the controller.
