PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent rotary type pressure water washing device for wire rod in an automatic pickling line of wire rod, by which the uniform film having extremely little residual acid and smut amounts in comparison with these in the conventional device, is obtained. SOLUTION: This rotary type pressure water washing device for wire rod has the peculiarity, in which the interference between a rotary nozzle and the wire rod is eliminated by fitting a resin cover to the rotary nozzle and rotating the wire rod body and while moving the wire rod, the water washing is executed.
