PURPOSE: A method for operating monitoring lines for the duplication of a base station management system is provided to prevent communication interruption by installing more physical paths for information exchange through the duplication of a communication line. CONSTITUTION: An information exchange processor transmits and receives through an initial communication line(S1-S3). The information exchange processor judges whether data transmission using the initial communication line is impossible(S4). In case that data transmission is impossible, the information exchange processor monitors and summons the initial communication line(S5) and judges whether the communication line is in normal condition(S6). If the communication line is in an abnormal state, the information exchange processor changes the communication line(S7).
