PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern control method in a game machine by which pattern change display processing is simple and does not become a burden on a controller and also the generation times of stop patterns are increased to obtain the expectation of the occurrence of scatter in a stop display result compared with a method where stop patterns are generated every time it is judged that a big hit in obtained in the pattern change display processing. SOLUTION: Pattern change display is processed which is executed because of the entering of a game ball into a pattern start port as processing independently of a pattern generation storage processing. When a hit judging means judges a miss as a hit-or-miss judgement result, miss patterns corresponding to a miss pattern display index which is stored in a miss pattern display index storage means are made to be the stop patterns in the pattern change display processing. |
