<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag mounting structure capable easily installing an air bag on a case without using any separate part such as a bag retainer, a bolt-nut, or a rivet. SOLUTION: In this mounting structure used for mounting a base part 28 of the air bag 12 on an opening circumferential edge part 16 in the case 14 slits 18 for inserting the air bag base part 28 and a locking jaws 22 positioned on the case opening side with respect to the slits 18 for locking the air bag base part 28 are arranged in the case opening edge part 16, while locking holes 30 to be hooked around the locking jaws 22 are arranged in the air bag part 28. The air bag base part 28 is inserted into the slits 18 from the inside of the case 14 so as to be pulled out to the outside of the case 14, and then, the withdrawn base part 28 is hooked on the locking jaws 22 so as to be locked on the case wall face.</p> |
