AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF EXPANDABLE BIODEGRADABLE RESIN, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND FINE PARTICLE OF EXPANDABLE BIODEGRADABLE RESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fine particles of an expandable biodegradable resin having excellent expandability which excel in biodegradability and can easily be decomposed by microorganisms when discarded in the natural world and have no fear of causing the environmental pollution due to no fear of generating toxic dioxin upon incineration and furthermore, can reduce the load of an incinerator due to the heat of combustion of incineration which is lower than that of conventional synthetic resins. SOLUTION: An aqueous dispersion of an expandable biodegradable resin is obtained by dispersing particles of a biodegradable resin containing a chemical blowing agent in water in the presence of a dispersion stabilizer in the form of fine particles. The fine particles of an expandable biodegradable resin are obtained by filtering the aqueous dispersion of the expandable biodegradable resin containing the chemical blowing agent and drying it.
