PURPOSE: An apparatus for heat treating the impact beam for automobile is provided which uniformly and smoothly heat treats on a circular cross-sectional shaped impact beam as well as a non-circular cross-sectional shaped impact beam. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a step feeder (10) piling up impact beams to be treated and successively and continuously supplying the impact beams toward the transferring device (20); an impact beam transferring device (20) and a guiding part (30) horizontally transferring the impact beams supplied from the step feeder to one side in a constant speed; an impact beam rotational progressing part (40) rotationally progressing them by passing the impact beams coming from the guiding part through between a rotational drum (41) and supporting rolls (43); and a heat treating part heat treating the impact beams by the induction heating as passing the impact beams rotationally progressed by the impact beam rotational progressing part through the center part of an induction coil (51), wherein the supporting rolls (43) of the rotational progressing part (40) are composed of tapered supporting rolls.
