IP SYSTEM AND VIDEO SERVICE METHOD USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: An IP(Intelligent Peripheral) system and a video service method using thereof are provided to store, transmit or receive video data according to the status of a called terminal by adding a video phone access function to a VMS(Voice Message System) or an IP system. CONSTITUTION: A VPMS(Video Phone Message System) consists of an SRS(Special Resource Switch)(403), an SRU(Special Resource Unit)(404), a sub highway(405), a switching hub(402), an SRMP(Special Resource Management Process)(400), and a network RAID(Redundant Array of Independent Disks)(401). The SRS(403) executes interfacing with an external device to process special resources like video data. The SRU(404) is connected with the SRS(403) and processes special resources. The sub highway(405) connects the SRS(403) and the SRU(404) to transmit video data. The switching hub(402) is provided for connections between each module. The SRMP(400) is connected with the switching hub(402) and executes inter-working service with an Internet network and control for an operator interface function. The network RAID(401) is connected with the switching hub(402) and stores video data.
