PURPOSE: An O-shaped ring mounting mechanism is provided to improve the performance of sealing by preventing an O-shaped ring from torsion when the O-shaped ring is inserted into a groove of a shaft, to extend the lift of the O-shaped ring, and to prevent leakage by preventing the loss of applied compound. CONSTITUTION: An O-shaped ring mounting mechanism includes a first cylinder(8) having the inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of a shaft(4) for inserting an O-shaped ring(2) and inserting the O-shaped ring into one side, and applied with compound at one side, a second cylinder(10) inserted into the outer peripheral surface of the first cylinder to straightly move and pushing the O-shaped ring inserted into the first cylinder to move the O-shaped ring to a groove(6) of the shaft, and a third cylinder(12) inserted into the outer peripheral surface of the second cylinder to straightly move and pushing the upper part of the O-shaped ring for applying compound to the surface of the O-shaped ring.
