PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent a waste water tank from becoming full during waiting time. SOLUTION: In the pressure sewer system for which the capacity of its conduit network is set so that a prescribed number of pump units of connected to the network may simultaneously operate, a water level measuring means which measures the surface levels of waste water in waste water tanks provided to the pump units and a selecting means which preferentially selects the pump units related to the waste water tanks as simultaneously operable pump units when the surface levels of waste water in the tanks are higher than prescribed levels indicating the actuation of the pumps.
