PORTABLE CATALYTIC OXIDIZER FOR ELIMINATING VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS

PURPOSE: A portable catalytic oxidizer for eliminating volatile organic compounds is provided to catalytic oxidize VOCs, exhausted from a small-scale spot source such as gas station, laundry, and auto repair center into carbon dioxide and water. CONSTITUTION: This portable catalytic oxidizer comprises a main body (10) having casters (21) at the bottom part; an analyzer (11) for analyzing qualitatively/quantitatively inflow air; a honeycomb monolith (12) supported with at least one element selected from Pt, Pd, Co, Cu, Mn, and Mo; a heating means (13) and an insulating means (14) for elevating and maintaining inner temperature of the honeycomb monolith to about 150-400deg.C.
