PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic measuring device, a date processing.controlling device for automatic measurement, and a network system, capable of conducting various measurement having different measuring items, measuring conditions, and specifications by simple operation. SOLUTION: When measuring information 83 such as types of machines is inputted, a condition file is automatically selected in accordance with a measuring classification 81 selected for every object to be measured displayed on an initial setting screen 80. When testing selection items (a measuring item 86 and a testing item 87) are selected, these selected results are stored in a memory. In measuring, a testing condition value is taken out of the condition file based on the selected result, test data are produced and given to a test signal generator, a test signal is generated and inputted in a measuring object, and an output signal is inputted in a measuring device through an interface to obtain a measured result. The measuring classification of the object to be measured can be selectively set on a menu screen, and the change of the condition value can be set with a test condition registration screen. Setting, change, and display of measuring condition and measured result of the test data are conducted by screen operation.
