FLUORESCENT BEAD FOR OBTAINING CELL TEMPERATURE AND ITS USE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent bead used for obtaining a temperature and/or a metabolic state of a single cell included in a cell/tissue sample. SOLUTION: The fluorescent bead contains a temperature-sensitive fluorophore and a temperature-insensitive fluorophore embedded in a polymer material. The polymer material dissolves a fluorescent emission by the temperature-sensitive fluorophore and a fluorescent emission by the temperature- insensitive fluorophore. Cellular metabolism is monitored and abnormal metabolism of the cell is diagnosed.
