PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium in which crosstalk hardly occurs and errors are reduced. SOLUTION: In the DVD-R type optical information recording medium having a dye recording layer capable of recording information by laser beams on a transparent disk substrate having a recessed groove formed in a spiral shape from the inner peripheral side to the outer peripheral side of the surface and a reflecting layer thereon, the side wall of the groove is inclined so that an angle which is formed by the extension of the line connecting a point on the side wall of the groove at the position of 10% of the depth of the groove from the bottom surface of the recessed groove to a point in the side wall of the groove at the position of 50% of the depth of the groove and a horizontal surface parallel to the bottom surface of the recessed groove falls within the range of 55-85 deg., and moreover the thickness of the dye recording layer within the recessed groove falls within the range of 55-95 nm. The dye recording layer is preferably formed of a cyanine dye or an oxonol dye. |
