PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of remotely controlling a computer without it needing any software having a remote log-in function and regardless of the difference of both OS. SOLUTION: When an electronic mail address for control is registered, and an Internet mail in which a simple control sentence is described is transmitted to the address, a remote operation is realized by mounting software having a remote control function for analyzing and translating the contents of the mail, and for operating according to the contents of the command. Thus, when this software is provided with an electronic mail transmitting function, a control request can be transmitted as a client form any computer.
