PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte battery with a separator that has a less thickness, good balance between the diameter of pores and the mechanical strength, and noticeable winding ability. SOLUTION: The separator for a non-aqueous electrolyte battery consists of a non-woven fabric coated with polyolefin resin.
