PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming method and an electrophotographic image forming device where image failure due to wear of an electrophotographic photoreceptor surface is not generated even when a magnetic brush electrifying method is utilized. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic image forming method, torque of an image carrier with a magnetic brush is >=0.98 N.cm and <=4.90 N.cm in the image forming method where at least the magnetic brush electrifying method carrying out electrification by having conductive magnetic particles applied with voltage abutted to an image carrier is utilized. In the electrophotographic image forming device, torque of an image carrier with a magnetic brush is >=0.98 N.cm and <=4.90 N.cm in the image forming device provided at least with the magnetic brush electrifying member carrying out electrification by having the conductive magnetic particles applied with voltage abutted to the image carrier.
