PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture mounted with an amalgam control mode lamp, in which an increase in temperature at the coldest point portions is rapidly achieved and which has a shortened generation time of beam. SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is a lighting fixture 7 mounted with a discharge lamp utilizing amalgam, a mercury absorbing substance for control of mercury vapor pressure. In the vicinity of at least bases 1a and 2a of the discharge lamp, there is disposed a heat source 10 to heat the discharge lamp. |
