PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive electronic circuit device for automobile, having superior heat radiating property and waterproofing property. SOLUTION: An electronic circuit device is constituted, in such a way that an electronic circuit composed of a substrate mounted with an electronic circuit element, is fixed to a base with an adhesive by passing the input-output terminal of the circuit through an insulating pipe into the hole of the base and airtightly sealing the spaces between the internal surface of the pipe and the input output terminal of the circuit and between the external surface of the pipe and the hole, by plastically deforming the margin of the hole and its vicinity. Electrical connection between the terminal and circuit is obtained through ultrasonically or thermocompression bonded aluminum wires, etc., and a recessed groove is provided around the upper surface of the base. After the open edge of a cover is fitted in the recessed groove, the cover and base are coupled airtightly with each other, by eliminating a fitting gap between them making the base to cause plastic flow near the fitted portion.
