PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a channel selection detecting mechanism of a monitor-side receiver of a radio audience rating measurement and survey system. SOLUTION: This system has a light emission display part 2 which indicates the channel selection state of a radio receiver 1 and a detection attachment 3 for the channel selection state which is combined with the display part 2, and the detection attachment 3 is equipped with an area sensor 4 composed of photoelectric converting elements arranged in pattern corresponding to the light emission display of channel selection information from the light emission display part 2, a processing circuit 10 and a control circuit 11 which recognize the character/number pattern of the channel selection information with the photoelectric conversion output from the area sensor 4 and generates the channel selection information as channel selection data, a transmitting circuit 12 which transmits the processed channel selection data to outside the detection attachment, and an operation power source part 12 for those circuits. |
