PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify manufacturing of rotor core, without lowering the performance. SOLUTION: In a brusheless alternator of the structure, that a Randel type rotor formed by forming a plurality of pawl-type magnetic pole pieces and combining a boss formed at the center of one rotor core is provided, an energizing coil 37 is wound at the internal side of this combined rotor core 13 and the energizing coil 37 is fixed in the stator side via the energizing core 19, the rotor core 13 is not provided with a boss as a magnetic path, but is provided with a core bottom surface magnetic path 19 as the magnetic path at the energizing core 19 for fixing the energizing coil 37 and the main magnetic flux floes into the part for supporting the pawl-type magnetic pole piece 5a of the rotor core 13 from the core bottom surface magnetic path 19-1 provided to the energizing core 19 via an air gap.
