PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is difficult to realize miniaturization or integration to one chip because of the large number of inductance elements included in a delay circuit. SOLUTION: This delay circuit 10 is provided with an inductance/capacitance branch converting circuit 1 which is obtainted by converting the inductance component branch of the partial circuit of a conventional delay circuit into a capacitance component branch. Besides, the circuit is also provide with two dimension converting circuits 3 and 5 for adjusting the change of dimension caused by the conversion of the inductance component branch and the capacitance component branch. Then, the delay circuit 10 is provided with the smaller number of inductance component branches, i.e., inductance elements while having a phase characteristic being the same as that of the conventional delay circuit and is proper for miniaturization.
