PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air supply and exhaust device to equalize velocity of flow distribution of an outlet air flow through an air outlet and to form a stable air curtain flow. SOLUTION: Air having a given supply air pressure and introduced to a position above a given supply air space from a supply air duct 5 is supplied as an air curtain flow to the outer periphery in a given local region through a lower air outlet 3. Meanwhile, air in the given local region surrounded by an air curtain flow is sucked to a position above the interior of a suction duct 2, extending to a external part through the central part of a supply air space in a reverse direction to an air supply direction through a suction port 2a inside an air outlet 3 and exhausted. In a so formed air supply exhaust device, the air supply space is partitioned into two upper and lower chambers of the one of a first supply air space 4c on the upper side in which air through the supply air duct 5 is introduced, and the other of a second supply air space 4d spreading in the direction of the air outlet 3 through a partition plate 41. The first and second supply air spaces 4c and 4d are caused to effect intercommunication therebetween through annular flow straightening passages 40R and 50R, vertically extending on the outer periphery of the suction duct 2 and having a low passage diameter. |
