<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the existence of a PCI device provided at a host device side from being recognized from software by simple control. SOLUTION: A detection signal (DOCKZ) is used for automatically hiding a primary PCI serial transfer controller 15 from the software of an operating system or the like in an undocking state. When a docking state is obtained, that is, the detection signal (DOCKZ)='0', a primary PCI serial transfer controller 15 is normally operated, and when an undocking state is obtained, that is, the detection signal (DOCKZ)='1', any response to a bus cycle (transaction) on a PCI bus 2 by the primary PCI serial transfer controller 15 is automatically inhibited.</p> |
