<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic latent image developing toner which ensures satisfactory electrostatic charge characteristics while retaining negative chargeability, fixability and anti-offsetting property peculiar to a polyester resin contained and does not cause the problems of fogging, toner scattering, etc. SOLUTION: An electrostatic latent image developing toner containing a colorant, a polyester resin having 15-30 mgKOH/g acid value and 4-17 mgKOH/g hydroxyl value, a negative charge controlling agent comprising a chromium complex compound and a positive charge controlling agent is prepared, particles of a fluidizing agent having 90-240 m2/g specific surface area, e.g. silica particles are added to the toner by 0.1-3.0 pts.wt. based on the total weight of the toner and they are mixed to obtain the objective electrostatic latent image developing toner. This toner may further be blended with positive charge type particles such as titanium dioxide.</p> |
