PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device with a toner carrier for preventing toner scattering and which is stabilized at an initial stage and also after a lapse of time. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a developing roller 5 for carrying toner with rotation and supplying the toner to the surface of a photoreceptor drum with an electrostatic latent image formed in contact with or adjacent to the photoreceptor drum so as to develop the electrostatic latent image. The developing roller 5 is provided with a core bar 51 with a large diameter part 51b including a part corresponding to an image area and a small diameter part 51a which is integrally and coaxially connected to the part 51b through a step part 51c, an elastic layer 52 formed on the peripheral surface of the large diameter part of the core bar 51 and a cylindrical member 54 for covering both ends of the elastic layer 52, and the contact surface of the elastic layer 52 with the cylindrical member 54 is arranged outside in the axial direction than the level difference position of the core bar 51, then, the end surface of the large diameter part of the core bar 51 is partly covered with the elastic layer 52. |
