PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience by continuously providing current regardless of the condition of a pan during cooking. SOLUTION: In an induction heating cooking device comprising a rectifier 2 for converting an alternating current power 1 into a direct current power, a filter circuit 3 for the D.C. power, an inverter converting the output of the filter circuit 3 into a high frequency current by a switching elements 61, 62, supplying it to a resonance circuit consisting of a heating coil 4 and a resonance capacitor 51, 52 and heating a load in the vicinity of it, a controlling part 14 for controlling the inverter, a primary current detecting circuit 9 for detecting current at the A.C. power 1, and a resonance current detecting circuit 11 for detecting the current of heating coil 4 or resonance capacitors 51, 52, it comprises a first load determining circuit 12 for detecting the load status from the output of primary current detecting circuit 9 and the output of resonance current detecting circuit 11 at the start of current through the inverter, and a second load determining circuit 13 for detecting the load status from the output of primary current detecting circuit 9 and the output of the resonance current detecting circuit 11 after the first load determining circuit determines that it is suitable for heating, so that the controlling part 14 controls the current according to the results of each determining circuit. |
