Conventionally, when a packing is not used, liquid leaks to a portion between a filter and a liquid port; and when a packing is used, the number of components constituting an absorber increases and, if a housing and the ring unit of the filter have thin walls, the packing may go out of place when the housing and the liquid port are joined together by welding or the like. In addition, even when the packing is used, a clearance will occur between the filter and the end face of the housing or the inner face of the liquid port to cause liquid to seep into a clearance between the filter and the liquid port. In the case of a medical-use absorber, a body liquid leaks into a portion between a filter and a liquid port and remains, after treatment, in a clearance between the filter and the end face of a housing or the inner face of the liquid port to thereby degrade an external impression. An absorber characterized in that a filling out-flow preventing elastic filter having a soft-resin structure is fixed to a housing while being held under pressure between the inner face of a liquid port and the end face of the housing.
|
