<p>A multilayer ceramic electronic component having an element main body formed by alternately laminating dielectric layers and inner electrode layers, carbon content in the element main body after firing being at least 1 ppm and up to 100 ppm (preferably, at least 2 ppm and up to 50 ppm, more preferably at least 3 ppm and up to 15 ppm). The relation between a carbon content in the element main body after firing and a bending strength of the electronic component satisfies the following expression: F= -A*lnX + B (ln, natural logarithm), where, 23 ≤ A ≤ 28, B=350 to 400, F: bending resisting strength (MPa), X: carbon content (ppm) in element main body.</p> |
